This
year, as one way to acknowledge and reward positive behaviour, we as a school
have decided to record our Clip Chart data on Class Dojo so it can be easily
communicated to you. Dojo is a popular
classroom management tool which is used in many Australian schools. It is
accessible as an app on computer, phone and tablet/ipad.
You
will be receiving an invitation from your classroom teacher outlining how to
access your child’s data.
Students
are awarded Gotcha points according to where they end up on the Clip Chart at
the end of day. Some classes are physically using the Clip Chart (moving pegs),
while others are using the table below as a reflection tool at the end of the
day.
One of the purposes
of using this recording tool is to encourage conversations at home around
positive behaviour.
