What an amazing and successful week 6/7’s had in Canberra and Sydney.
The weather was, in all seriousness, perfect! Yes it was cold but the amount of time we spent outside was minimal, so it really was not that much of an issue. The snow day was received with blue skies and sunshine and some powder to top it off and Friday in Sydney followed one of the coldest days Sydney had had in August in 4-5 years. The children were beautifully behaved and made the teachers, parents, PSS and our wider community so proud. EVERY place we visited I was complimented on the polite, respectful and resilient students we had with us. A true credit to the wonderful families that make up our school.
Some highlights from a teachers perspective were as follows:
* we travelled with an amazing group of kids and parents
* kids enthusiastically participated in all activities
* all children came home in one piece
* the children have not stopped buzzing about their adventures.
I would like to make a special thankyou to a few VERY IMPORTANT people that assisted in making our camp such a success.

These adults managed, supervised, parented and educated your children over the course of the week. They were of an immense support to me and I thank each of you.
I would also like to thank YOU for making the financial sacrifice to provide this opportunity for your child. I am sure you see the benefit of such a memorable and exciting school camp.
Over the next few weeks the students that went on camp will be putting together a presentation for you to come and enjoy. We will set a date closer to the end of term for the evening so that as many of you as possible can attend. Each of our group leaders will be presenting a small, fun skit with their group. We ran out of time on camp to perform and the kids are super keen to deliver their skit! We would also like to offer the parents of next years’ campers the opportunity to come and see what amazing experiences are in store for their children.
