The Bike Bus is an organised ride to school program, which delivers children safely to school on a given day via a set route. We are recommencing this active and fun filled initiative in Term 3.
It starts at the Pioneer Village at 8am every second Friday. Permission and medical forms MUST be completed and returned to participate.
In order to ensure that the ‘bike bus’ travels safely for its entire journey, is adequately supervised and arrives back at school by 8.30am, please ensure that:
your child is in prep, or not a strong rider, is accompanied by a parent
your child if not a strong rider is picked up along the route (as per attached map). There are various pick-up points. A suggestion is for parents to ascertain before the ride how far their child can ride comfortably and keep up with the pack while being supervised. A suggested entry point may be from Rotaract Park on the corner of Hills and Murray St.
